Oscar Kaufmann

Oscar Kaufmann has an extensive track record in corporate communications and crisis management across Mexico and Latin America. He currently serves as Managing Director of Torres y Carrera Mexico and is the founder of StreamicsLab, both firms specializing in corporate communications, public relations, and social data sciences.

With over 30 years of professional experience as both a consultant and senior executive, Oscar has held roles such as Director of Social Communication for the Government of Mexico City and advisor in political and electoral strategy. He was also President and CEO of Hill+Knowlton Strategies Mexico, Managing Director for Mexico, and Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs for Latin America at Nokia Siemens Networks.

Previously, he served as Chief Communications and Institutional Affairs Officer at BBVA Bancomer Financial Group and was a founding partner of his own corporate communications consultancy for over 15 years.

Oscar holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas, a Bachelor’s in Communications certified by CENEVAL, and a diploma in Social Media Marketing from Cornell University. For over 12 years, he was also a lecturer in communication studies at both undergraduate and graduate levels at Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City.
